Description: These 3lb packages will arrive from Georgia. The queens will be open-mated Carniolans/Italians.
Cost: $157 per 3lb package
Arrival Date: Packages are due to arrive Friday, April 25 but could be delayed due to weather.
Pick up Location: Etzel Sugar Grove Farm (3706 St. Peters Road, Marion, IA)
Please Note:
- Bees MUST be picked up during the specified time frame communicated via email
- All communications about pick up date/time will be sent via the email you provide during registration.
- There are no deposits on packages and we are unable to accept empty packages from previous years.
- Customers must make their own arrangements to pick up bees; none will be allowed to overnight at the Nature Center.
- This purchase is not eligible for refund or transfer.
- Queens are guaranteed to arrive alive.
- Any queens who die en-route will be replaced.
- There is no guarantee related to queen acceptance by the hive, brood pattern, and overall health.
- Deadline to purchase bee package is March 30
